I want to welcome you into my heart and ask you to join me as I share some experiences of my life, a life completely changed since the onset of Parkinson's disease. Life is not over when stricken with tragedy. Tragedy comes in many forms: death, illness, loss of personal property, loss of jobs, divorce, it goes on and on. It is devastating to deal with loss, but we can experience victory in spite of our trials. We just have to be open to it. I pray that by sharing some of my daily struggles, I can give a sense of hope to others who may be suffering. Hope is necessary to survive. The valuable, inspirational gifts of hope and encouragement have come from the people whom God has put in my path. He has used each of these people to strengthen and affirm me. I ask you to open the door of your heart and know how much I care. Let me show you how God has lifted me out of the depths of despair, how He has sent His angels and given me a reason to live in victory instead of defeat.
